Modern enterprises increasingly rely on interconnected applications, cloud services, legacy systems, and data platforms to support business operations and digital transformation initiatives. Managing these heterogeneous environments requires a robust integration and API management strategy. MuleSoft has emerged as a leading integration platform that enables organizations to connect systems, expose reusable APIs, and streamline data exchange across distributed environments. This paper examines MuleSoft platform implementation strategies for enterprise connectivity and API management, focusing on architecture, deployment approaches, governance frameworks, security considerations, and performance optimization. The study also reviews literature to understand the evolution of enterprise integration and API-led connectivity practices. Findings suggest that a well-structured MuleSoft implementation improves operational efficiency, enhances scalability, reduces integration complexity, and supports agile business innovation. The paper further presents a graphical representation of implementation benefits and a comparative table highlighting key platform capabilities.
